Two sponsors approached InFocus Clinical Research with similar, critical pathway Phase I clinical trials struggling to meet enrollment timelines and needing six to eight subjects within three months. Both sponsors faced critical decisions from investors and their boards, dependent upon meeting enrollment goals. Both sponsors had experienced clinical development teams and resources.
InFocus offered both sponsors a package of services and engagement on their programs to ensure the best possible opportunity to advance their study to completion.
Sponsor A opted not to onboard InFocus Clinical Research as a partner and, instead, sought to use their long standing relationships in an effort to conclude their study.
Sponsor B opted to embrace InFocus Clinical Research as a partner, including many proprietary advantages:
Sponsor A, unfortunately, enrolled one subject in the ensuing four months, lost subsequent funding and was forced to abandon future clinical development
Sponsor B – supported by InFocus Clinical Research and its vast, unprecedented resources – was able to enroll eight subjects in three months, subsequently onboard additional financing and is currently running their Phase III study.
